Amanda's work investigates the fragility of the physical, psychological and emotional aspects of the body and mind. Her photo-based artworks incorporate various mediums and processes such as cyanotypes, embroidery and film photography.

She does conceptual work as well as fine art portraiture. She aims to make each shoot and experience unique to who the model is.

Amanda is a graduate from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and Intermedia. She currently lives and works in Ypsilanti, MI.
